The measurement of success is simply the ratio of talents used to talents received. What you are doing with what you've got, plus who you are becoming. Are you a growing, maturing Christian? Whether you work in business, or in Christian work, or as a day laborer, professional, or academic, if you are a maturing Christian, using a large percentage of your talents, you are successful.
Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming. We are to take the talents and opportunities God gives us and make the most of them. Yet, we still need to ask ourselves one more question: “Am I working to make myself look good, or am I working to glorify God?” When we work for Him and the furtherance of His kingdom in everything we do and especially in our vocational callings, we truly find the purpose, fulfillment, and satisfaction that we all desperately seek.
We work at the pleasure of the Lord, and our work is to be driven by our love of the Master. Our only desire should be to hear Him say, “Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Master.”
Start producing the Promises
Imagine what your life would be like if the Lord Jesus intervened right this moment. Many of us think that we are alone in our situation but God has given us true Prophets so that in every season we know what He is saying.
God has given us many promises in His word but many of us are walking with our jaws to the floor.
Find out what God is saying in your situation right now, and what is happening to those powers of darkness that have been having a field day in your life and in your home. You do not have to continue as you are. God is still saying something.
