To succeed in life, you need proper guidance. 90% of people are not successful, they are running to and fro. In life do not be anxious for anything but because you want the popularity of man, you do this. Many Christians are a contradiction, just in the beginning of their Christianity, they say they are full-blown Christians. 

On 30 September 2023, prior to the prayer and fasting month in October 2023, Impact For Christ Ministries ( IFCM) Headquarters in Johannesburg, South Africa held a Confession Prayer service. This was done in preparation for the prayer and fasting month in October 2023. The theme for the prayer and fasting in October is titled, "Connecting back to God." 

In his opening remarks at the Confession Prayer service, the man of God, Prophet Philip Banda said that many times opportunities are given but because of pride and popularity before man, we are hindered from receiving help from God. He stated that success should not be measured by your popularity before men but by your position before God! He urged all of us to deal with our problem or problems before they turn into sorrow because whatever little choice we make, we don’t know how big the consequences shall be ten years from now. For example, you make a careless choice now because you want to be seen by a man. You forget consequences will come after 6 months, 3 years, and 30 years you have forgotten the choice. Now we are passing through consequences, "we say people hate us, I can’t find work, I can’t get married, and so forth." 

Prophet Banda reminded us that in the New Testament in the Holy Scriptures, it says," the truth shall set you free," not statements or philosophical beliefs. He also clarified that all of us have been graced by God, whether one has more and one has less, it is all grace. The Prophet said that God exists it’s just that you don’t want Him to be involved in your life. You have got your own way on how you think God should do things. 

The Prophet shared that the soul and body make a man. The Spirit and discipline make a Christian - who are you? To succeed in life, you need proper guidance. 90% of people are not successful, they are running to and fro. For you to say you are a Christian, what temptation have you overcome? Blessings of God are there for His true children, waiting for His children to be partakers. 

The Prophet said that, for truth to be effective it requires humility. You apply humility when you recognize that certain facts are true even though they challenge your conviction. He mentioned that we are failing to receive from God because there is a blockage. When there is a blockage there is nothing that can flow through. A lot of us hide in intelligence but we know nothing.
